A local boy – that’s what homegrown telco StarHub is. So to win hearts (and wallet share) during Singapore’s National Day period, we fly the flag for local businesses – by making them their very own TV commercials.

Scripted, shot and edited within a span of two weeks, these spots were StarHub’s way of thanking our everyday heroes. The very people who wake up at 4am to transport vegetables, give up cushy careers to sell nasi lemak – and in turn made Singapore the beautiful home it is today.
Aired on StarHub’s own cable TV network, the campaign captured the hearts of a nation. Our spots garnered more than 30,000 Youtube views within mere hours of launch. Even before the actual National Day festivities have begun.
